Chris Gautschi is a Swiss graphic designer who graduated in 2005 from École d’Arts Appliqués de la Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. His work focuses on the unexpected. Addressing symbolism and dual meanings. He strives to combine opposites and balancing contrasts. Using dialectics to address the permanent tension between these fundamental issues, he does not hesitate to juxtapose and distort images in order to place the initial concept back into its original context. By projecting himself beyond the mere result, he hopes to invite viewers to unleash their own imagination. He is based in Switzerland. His passion lies in book design, geometry, architecture and photography.
